I have nowhere left to stack any more wood. I've already stacked about 4 cords in places I told my wife I wouldn't use for wood....its going to be long summer without any cutting/splitting to keep busy with.

Just like a parachute, the first time you need it and don’t have it, you’ll probably never need it again. No such thing as too much.

Do like the guy did in his barn, put ply wood on stacks and did a second layer...use a ladder...
Or if you get real bored this summer, you can visit us in Dixie, we have plenty to cut and I'm going to build more sheds...:saw::tree::axe::stacker::woodsign:

My stacks are 8' high. The key is not fully empty the row in front so you can stand on it to get to the top of the row behind. :)

In the same boat again now! But all is not lost. My next move is to move 3 cords of outside stack into the woodshed. This will generate more space outside to CSS more wood. Dodged that bullet (at least for 3 more cords).

    4 cords! That's beginner stuff! :p

I've got close to 30 cord...... I've got 16 holz hausen stacks of which 13 are full. They are 8' in diameter, averaging 7' tall, and have 4 pallets under each of them.

On a .5 acre lot......with about 5,000,000 rocks too. And a playset. Talk about running out of room!

I'm about to tear down this POS playset my wife bought (and forced me to put in back in 2015). The pic is when I first finished building it. Anyone want to guess how many pounds of mulch that is? And who wants to guesstimate how many pounds of WOOD I've split.....of which 90% was split with an X27.

I have about 15 cords total on a 1/3 acre lot. The 4 cords is in places the misses said don't put wood there.

Story of my life in the last 7 years. I moved from 3acres to rental in town. Have almost 7 cords stored off site, hard to just stop cutting wood when it’s available!

Ill go along with that. I actually have a lot of room where my landlord lets me store on his property, but they cut me off last year. I was bringing PU fulls in almost on a daily basis. Asplundh was cutting literally down the street and i was having a field day cutting it.
    Hoard on my friend!
