Good morning all. Midwinter if you don't mind my asking, what's with the turtles and do you know all the species?

 

I don't know anything about them, but they're awfully pretty!

 

Thanks y'all. The limbs were long, so I cut most of them in half, then used the bucket to pack them down. I was glad to get it all to stay on there.
It wasn't sappy, it died last summer during the drought. I saw some termites in it already, so I found a hole in the woods on our place to dump it. I still have the big pine trunk that we took down last fall next to the woodyard to process.

Morning All. Hoping to go for a walk this morning. Checked on my garden last night and I have peas coming up and one potato poking through the thatch. I am not sure whether I have carrots showing or weeds. I guess in a few days I will find out. Have a great day today.

Not much on the docket today. I expect to head to my BIL's at some point, to watch him change out the rear tire on his Harley. Something neither of us has ever done. If I can do nothing more than offer an extra pair of hands, then so be it.
