Years ago I had IV treatments every six hours and it burned like you said. To solve it, they diluted the meds with saline. It took twice as long to process but it didn't burn.

My sister in law is doing dental work in the federal pen in Deer Lodge, Montana. My Kids were able to get there braces adjusted in Anaconda Mt last week. I feel for you. That has to suck. Rumor has it that is why they deemed our dope dealing shops stayed open, along with the breweries. Who knows the truth though

    Rolling Eyes
Disdainful is an appropriate word for describing the disrespectful looks you will get from your children. You may tell them you won’t tolerate it, but they may ignore you. There may even be a day when a smirk or two will be thrown in with their rolling eyes.

If you know it’s coming, you can prepare for it. The best preparation is to make sure you don’t return the look. Doing so will only negate the corrective action you need to take.

Recall how you rolled your eyes at your parents so you can relate to how your child is feeling. As you do so, you will be more understanding of how your child is learning to navigate through this step toward adulthood.

The point we need to extract from Proverbs 30:13 is that these behaviors do happen. We can wish and hope it won’t, but it does, regardless of how sweet they seem as toddlers. Be aware of where your child is in their development. When they hit the eye-rolling stage, simply accept it as another phase you have to work through. Be diligent about it. Don’t let it go unchecked or their defiance might increase.

    Parenting Principle
Haughty eyes are expected but not respected.

    Points to Ponder
*What looks or glances do you have that affect your family?

*How do you handle these looks with your children?

*How can you prepare for these issues down the road?

Taken from Once a Day Nurturing Great Kids

    those whose eyes are ever so haughty, whose glances are so disdainful;
    Proverbs 30:13 NIV

Pouring rain this morning. It has been awhile since we have had a down pour. Water is puddling everywhere. The ground around here will soak this all up quickly. It will be a good day to stay inside and work in the sewing room.

Pay no attention to the ugly beat up pot that is covering the well head. Sprucing that up is in the works.

No I don't think that at all. I do think overall the forecasts we get today are much, much better than in the past. However, they do also seem to go in spurts. For a while they are amazingly accurate then there will be a period where it is amazing how bad they miss it.

Pouring here today too. Is supposed to rain all day. It has all night and morning so far. The radar doesn't show any end in sight for the rain.

By the time this is done, there could be a couple inches of rain that fell.

The good news is that the morels should get a great kick start from this. I checked the wood lot a few days ago and it was so dry that there were no signs of any fungi because it was so dry.

The bad news is that the pup and I are not thrilled about the incessant rain dumping with potty training.

Does the rain bother the pup much?

He doesn't like it when it's totally dumping out. Regular rain isn't an issue. So far...

But rain or not, when they drink or eat at this point, or when they wake up, they need to go out. Little guy turns 8 weeks old on Tuesday.

Warner and T.Jeff Veal , adorable! Kiddo has a batgirl tshirt, it's her favorite, and was given an orange and white saw.

Cute. I will have to get a couple 3 of them to have around. If this Corona Chit ever gets over the grandson will start bring the great-grandkids over. Twin boys 18 months and girl 4 years old.
    I'll put them to work.
