Wow! I recently had a chance to do a quick read through of this thread. Very quick one. So much I can’t keep up with all that you guys are doing. I’m impressed! Several remodeling projects, nice work guys! Lots of gardening/planting work. Awesome. Some getting through ailments. Keep positive and never quit. Slow and steady to give your body time to slowly heal. But steadily push yourself to do just a little more each day. Best wishes to you and yours.

Oh. And I think I also learned a lesson. Be careful about taking your significant other to camp with you. You don’t want to end up with your linkage disconnected!? :picard:I Yi Yi! :D

    Stay safe my friends.:)

We are under a tornado warning until 10:00pm. Kind of rare for this area. How are things up your way Midwinter?

My areaa was in a tornado warning too. We got torrential rains but no hail and not too much wind. Funny, the wind wasn't as strong as my area has had 10 out of the last 14 days (where it had been howling), so pretty anticlimatic.

We were watching a movie when the storm warning came on. Son got a little nervous. We ended up with rain and a few flashes of lightning. Kinda a dud but that’s a good thing.

Exactly. Good soaking rain, little wind. It didn't look good on radar. Other parts of NH had some lightning strikes, one hitting a house.

I already did a call at work this morning, hit big orange box and got materials to repair front steps roof. BIL has some limbs overhanging his house to trim at some point this weekend. Taking in some coffee before getting set up.

Over cast and rain threatening. First day of a long weekend. Victoria Day. Supposed to rain all weekend. We will see. yesterday was nice. campinspecter got laundry dry outside and when work was over, I got squash plants planted that someone gave me. No potatoes showing yet and I am impatient for the peas to come up. Sowed some radish seeds yesterday. Broccoli seeds I started in the house are almost all up so another week and I will be planting them outside. I will try to remember to get a pic of the garden this weekend.

Nice to see your posts Gasifier !

I've got my hands full with new puppy now! Glad I got all the elm last week. I've got another load of wood to haul here, and probably will help my buddy with some oak that was dropped and bucked on Wednesday.

We were starting to show some signs of being dry but no more. Got a couple inches of rain and more on the way.

Stupid weather forecasters have really been missing the boat big time. They had forecast lots of 70+ degree days and looking further maybe into mid 80's next week. That has all gone out the window. 70's turned into 60's and now they are saying we might see 80 by next Friday. It makes one wonder how much that forecast will change before next Friday gets here.

Rain supposed to start again tonight through tomorrow night.

    Bingo!

Just had a doe walk through. She went up on the ridge and stood there and suddenly a fawn got up to nurse!! So yesterday we saw a set of newborn twins and today a doe with one new fawn. We are blessed!!!!
