    Good morning all! Last day of the week for E-Learning lessons. :dex: 39°F here right now. Rain is supposedly not to start until after midnight, so a pretty nice day possible. Daughter got some photos of kids working yesterday. Calves are moved, stanchion area cleaned out, need to narrow the stanchions (we widen them as they grow so the stanchions don't rub the hair off of their necks). Will work on some pictures. Youngest granddaughter spent the night as her mom and dad both work tomorrow. She calls it a sleepover! Has been the weirdest year for kittens. We had one batch born and the mom died right on the edge of the nest and evidently they got the colostrum from her. Another cat adopted the litter and has raised 3 of the 6. And that cat brought in two kittens that are half the size for a litter of five. Found another litter in-between some straw bales of two kittens with their eyes open and two much smaller. Yesterday found another litter of mismatched sizes. The moms are THE most protective mothers I have ever seen. Oh well, glad they have stepped up and are taking care of business. Have a wonderful day, enjoy the day the Lord has on agenda for us, stay safe and healthy.

    Morning all. so far the rain that we were supposed to be pounded with hasn't materialized. Lower part of the island got it but not us. Maybe we will see some today. Tomorrow I think I will be actually going into the office. Big staff Zoom meeting today. We will get some updates on what will be happening for the rest of the school year.

    Mowing the lawn for the first time this year, is on today's list. I'll be bagging the clippings, as the compost bin needs to be fed.

    I might split some rounds from yesterday first. There doesn't seem like there was much dew from last night, but the drier the grass, the better the bagging.
