I like your beauty spot too. I like the small statue there. Is that a Japanese lantern?

Good morning. We got 34f here, with a high today of 58f, but sunny and less wind. Warming to 70f by Friday.

I have never tried crickets Brandon Scott. In fact the only ones I have even seen for sale here at the bait store are dead/preserved. But I have an endless supply of garden worms.

Worms work great. I’ve been using crickets since I was 5 years old. Bluegill love them! Give em a shot. They will bite dead ones. Been gonna get some packaged ones and try them.

I miss my little buddy Midwinter. I had one that was in my compost bucket right on the back deck a few years ago. He/she was pretty tame, even gingerly taking a chicken bone from my hand one time.

I wonder if it was eaten by a fox or coyote, simply moved on, or froze to death overwinter. Either way I haven't seen one in over a year now.

They don't live too long, 4 years tops I've heard. But there always seems to be another one to step up around here.

    Good morning, hoarders!:dex:
It's gonna be a nice day here. Little chilly yet.
Neighbor called yesterday afternoon, asked me about mowing. Guess I'm a landscaper now. :handshake:

I first saw an opossum in MN in 1982. This was in the far SW corner of state on my friend's farm in Cottonwood county. This was the first time he or anyone in his family had ever seen one as well. Now they are occasional residents at least as far north as the Twin Cities area.

Not really. Lol...But it pays well. :dex:

Her mower didn't show up after she called a couple times. IDK.
i saw him pull in last week then pull right out. Julie saw him pull in the week before. Grass was pretty high. Some i had to go over twice as it laid down rather than cut. Even had to sharpen the blades to get it to look good.

She talked about calling the other neighbor about taking some trees down. Maybe I'll ask her if she wants me to cut them. All pines though, so I'd need to rent a chipper probably.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Get off for 3 days @ 7 this morning...:dex:...
Going over to my nephew's, he has a small shop and welder. He's going to help strengthen the frame on our truck for the dump trailer. Weight distribution hitch will be here soon, too.
Keep sharing those smiles, be encouraging...

Hope you can get that job too. I know about that grass, we do that on the side as well. We have one yard we cut for an older fellow, he gets his monthly check, that's when the grass gets cut, knee high Bahia grass over the drain field is rough, even with our commercial mower. It's a decent size yard, but always have to crosscut it. He says he has a golf course when we finish though.

Her late husband was my mom & dads trash hauler since the mid 70's. When he died she started driving the truck. So we've known them all our lives. She's a crazy old lady but we get along great. Lol
I keep an eye on her or the house when shes traveling...
