Seems like a decent deal. If everything is okay and functional it should last a occasional user virtually forever. A 90's one with a really tired Perkins has a 7900 asking price by me.
Just went & looked it over & ran it. No issues, motor is solid & runs/chips well. Sold! Picking it up tomorrow.
Iffin yous gotts 5k what ain't doin' nuffin go fer hit, hits only money! Ah man's at his best when he spendin' money.
Quite possibly. Last 10 years it was owned by a local greenhouse that put about 5hrs per year on it. Good shape for it's age. Knives are even sharp.
Yes sir! I've got more "stuff" than time. I expected my auto shop to slow down way more than it has, so I was gonna kill more trees, but alas, business is still pretty good. Guess I shouldn't complain, but I really wanna play more in the woods.
Nice Adam! I've never worked with one and I'm wondering if it is difficult to sharpen the teeth or knives?
They're not too bad to do. I sharpen them with a rotary file in a die grinder. They have to be removed obviously. Then re bolted & the bed knife set to .030 clearance.
