    Went to the wifes friends house today. No oaks coming down like he said. Two smaller, and one maybe 15" DBH cherries instead. Somewhat frightening sight to watch. Last tree rolled off the stump and would have hit the house if it hadnt been trimmed down when the guy cut most of the hinge with a plunge cut.

    Absolutely! Less ash than ash trees too! I just need another cord of oak for 23-24. I have most of it in the woods, but theres WAY too many people out in the conservation land for me to be cutting out there now.

    Goofy weather...was working in short sleeves yesterday, now its sunny, 41* and snowing like crazy! 15 minutes ago a little squall blew through here and the visibility was probably less than 1/4 mile! Supposed to go down into the mid 20s overnight...guess I'll go grab some more firewood from my ear :stacker: ;)
