Guys thanks for the thoughts, we don’t really need another dog.. I sometimes have a problem with supporting dog breeders, very few ethical ones, nothing against those that do..

My wife who I love to pieces, has a big soft spot for labs. Particularly big headed goofy males! That turn into cranky old men. As I wrote that I know why she picked me:emb::rofl:

I got many friends that do dog rescue, where we got our shepherd, wifes co worker found her and she just adopted us. So right one will show up in Gods time. And we will have another.
Thing with Loon shep was he was being a PITA and it was a half a joke.

The downside to rescues is they were generally neglected and abused so it’s a mixed bag. But much like kids I don’t blame dogs for having bad owners.
Lady is what she is.. does not care for loud noises and fireworks thunder and helicopters make her scared.. BUT she is very devoted to her mom and is having her best life:yes:

We really like Lady. She's very laid back for a GS. Usually GS's that meet me when I visit THEIR home the first time, are a bit on edge. Not that I don't think she'd go in full protect mode of need be in an instant.. I remember the fox story.

That's a lot of wood there Lyle, glad to see you getting after it. And so nice with the kids and friends getting out there to help and making the job go quickly and smoothly. A lot like the old days when friends and neighbors got together for these things like a barn raising. Old school still happens in the New England country side.:campfire:

Good for you. I don't either. I will take tylenol for fever or real bad body aches. But that is may a couple times a month. I don't drink because of my meds. I have had 2-3 beers a year. I would have more if I could time it right. I want to try CBD but haven't yet. I know some folks who take oxy for chronic pain, then cry foul of those who use POT. Everyone has a right to their opinion, however, I feel sorry for those who are hooked because of a inattentive MD. Our VA has done a good job of getting folks off those chronic meds, but not without consequences. Transitioning off is extremely hard to do.

savemoney I do take 400 mg of ibuprofen in AM because physical therapist told me arthritis was causing xx pain and deteriorating joint. So I use it as inflammation control until I determine side effects of let’s say naproxen.

I will take antibiotics for infection or pneumonia, because that’s a corse or treatment that ends. I guess I don’t believe in take this pill forever to fix xxx. It treats symptoms not problem.
