We’re having another cold spring so far also. We had a hard freeze last night and the next week or so it’s in the 30’s about every night and 40’s and 50’s daytime highs. It means we’re still burning off and on as the house cools down. I need to get a small one going for tonight with another frost predicted. I hope it changes soon so we can plant some things in the garden. Burning a mix of hard and soft wood.
Snow for Friday night/Saturday morning just north of us possibly. Probably up around fuelrod and Well Seasoned

Upper teens this morning, heavy frost- veggie plants still have indoors.
Yes, up to another 6" possible Friday into Saturday with some strong wind expected.
The end is certainly in sight thankfully.

No fire tonight. Only getting down to like 49°.
Had a fire last night, but it was like a beach party inside. Tomorrow night we'll fire it up again. It might get down to freezing tomorrow night. Trouble light going in the boat's doghouse tomorrow as a precaution.

Cool & windy here. 44F with a stiff west wind. Wintry mix over the weekend with highs in the 40's. Hard freeze Saturday morning they say. Catalpa & Pine in the boiler. First fire of the season still going almost 8 months later.:faint::hair:

Still batch burning here....one boiler run a day starting about 3:30 and shutting down after showers and dishes. The boiler lines in the house leak enough heat to take the chill off the basement, which is about all we need right now.

Supposed to get into the upper 20's Friday, which is basically unheard of around here this time of year. Average daytime highs are 20-25 below normal a few days this week.

Burning season is over here. Forecast is 80's & sunny through this weekend.
Forester for the local power co stopped in yesterday to notify re: cleaning/clearing lines. I'll be contacting them and the neighbors.

Well, burning season is not over here. Temperature now is 39 degrees and that is close to the forecasted high for today. Yes, there is fire in the stove.

So far we've only had flurries and that is enough for me. The snow track seemed to take a more northern route than they expected which is fine with me.
