We are heading into another cold stretch of weather after today into later next week.

Hoping my apple trees don't flower out, or that it stays above freezing.

Waiting for a patch of sustained warm weather for the fish to start biting good here.

I'm planning to stage some logs to cut and chunks to noodle tomorrow. Then, off to a friend's housemail to help her setup some storage bins to be used for composting.

Good morning everyone! Sunny and cool, 34°, rain tonight. My son and grandson are coming up tomorrow, so I'll tidy up and get some ice cream today.
Yesterday I split the last of my winter-scrounged black locust. Slowly working through my inventory.
I'll start a fire this morning. I need the cat to sleep in the basement so I can vacuum upstairs.
I got some new fabric, olive green ripstop, and some black elastic, so I'll try making some new masks on bad weather days.

No ma'am. Just the back half so far. We did go over Monday and got more strips put down. Waiting on a carpenter friend to come over and help with the roof extension before we cam finish.

 

Look what we have in the yard now...

We left this morning to take a sick mower to the shop, decided to stop charging the battery. Dropped it off, then went to the next town where the company that builds trailers and storage buildings. Got a new tire for the 16' equipment trailer and ran into a good deal on almost new 12x16 storage building. Had to clean up a old log pile and level it out, they are delivering it tomorrow. Guess I will have a man cave for all the saws and gas equipment and my hunny will have her she shed......

Morning all. Got down to 64 last night.

gonna go fight with planning and zoning today. All I want is a 10x10 shed. They tell you what you need to do to get it done, then add 2 more steps to the process.
