Doesn't hurt that he lives "down south" :D - relatively speaking of course

No just my pellet stove for heat. Its been pretty warm this season. Last year we were at 160.

Don't think Northwest hills in Litchfield county is considered down south. Me thinnx that starts in Fairfield, New Haven county! :p

Compared to some of us, you are down south.

No official count but looks to be about 2 ton for the season

I am projecting about 40 bags less than usual this year.

I used 27 bags for April for a total for this season at 249 (so far).

April was mostly cold, damp and heavily overcast; despite the winter being mild, this April was the second highest use by 1 bag (used 28 in 2017/2018 season).

Just a month ago I was 30-42 bags under any previous years and was thinking I would be a ton under my usual usage by the end of the heating season. Now I am at only 16 bags under the lightest year.

That is pretty much what I was thinking - 151 & 145 is nothing.

That's it. I refuse to burn anymore pellets .it's freaking May! Time to burn some oil if needed. Like tonite. 4 ton and done. I get 2 tons delivered every 6 months so I'm always ahead 3 tons to start in the fall.

May usage was 9 bags and both stoves are down. Cleaning is another issue, bugs are out :hair:

I went through a 180 bags this year. I think I'm done. It's all nickle and diming from here on out though.

Enjoy these two months of being a non-pellet slave to your stove!
