Along with those things that are too good to be true, I present to you Marley's Chainsaw Teeth Sharpener. At an original price of $59.99 and now on sale at %50 percent off, $29.97, it's a steal. :bug::hair::yes:. Please run and get your chain ruined today.

Walmart sells them plus a bunch on EBay. To me anybody that buys one probably shouldn’t be permitted to run a saw in the first place.

That is designed to be used with Oregon Power Sharp chain , not conventional saw chain .
Look at the cutter profile in the pics . Pretty strange lookin chain .

    Precisely.
A limited use device for a specific chain.
Anyone even thinking of using this on a standard chain shouldn’t be using a chainsaw.

I tried a saw with that power sharp chain once. Weird stuff to cut with. Low end homeowner imo.

Probably so.... but being as I know you and your attention to common chainsaw sense, you wouldn’t try to mount that sharpening apparatus in an attempt to sharpen a standard chain.

I never understood how that type of sharpener would work, granted, I've never seen any more than a second or two to think about it. Well, until I read and replied to this thread.

Funky chain, ok. Whatever, I think it's a bad idea. A 2 in 1 jig will work a heck of a lot better and not require special chain.
