Did not freeze here overnight. Sunny this morning but plenty of high clouds. Supposed to get windy this afternoon. Mid 50's today and 60 tomorrow. We're hoping the peach blossoms open. They are all ready to open.

Below freezing again last night even though it was not predicted. 60 forecast for today and it is nice blue sky out there.

Rain and windy also day yesterday with snow mixing in on occasion, never got to 40. Today is starting out the same but should get into the 40’s. Maybe 50 tomorrow. Mixed hardwood in the stove and 78 inside.

Freezing temps for a low overnight, but that's already ended!

    Sun is shining currently.

Yeah, I saw you got a bit of rain yesterday. More coming at you today. Looks like we get ours starting tonight. Lots of it, they say. But first, they changed the forecast and it is great. A high forecast of 69 today. That will be our warmest day this year.

I just rolled in an hour ago from our property up north of here near the US/Ontario border.

This is what I found on my drive yesterday morning
    upload_2020-4-28_12-2-57.png
Ice is still plenty thick and there is a good 12-18" of snow in the woods.. The ice white and not pulling away from the south shores yet.

Then it cleared off with highs in the low 40s

My trail to the bunkhouse is still too deep to get in with the 4-wheeler. I fired up the ski-d00s before putting them away until next winter.

It is still getting well below freezing at night so a fire close to sunset and another first thing in the morning kept the cabin toasty.

I never figure the burning season is over until maybe June 7 or so. There may be some short fires late but sometimes it feels good to get the chill off.

Overcast and about 60. I will take a drying day. But won't stay dry for long.
