It's just a wood pile it's not like you built on it. If it bothers them then move it otherwise just be neighborly. More nice people in the world than bad.
Whiskey Tango fuelrod, what the H is a "Richard" ? Is this one of those Western Maine ( N.H. ) sayings ?
I know my stupid sign is lit , but can't you just say what you mean here ? Cute don't work. Now, will the Moderators chime in if we say dorkhead ?
usually when property is sold it gets surveyed but not always. So there is that.. Like everyone said wait and see, maybe they like to smoke and you can offer them wood for their smoker, in exchange for being on the property line.
Like my neighbor on the other side, I plan to offer them all the fire pit wood they want. I know the house for sale has a wood insert, so perhaps they may use wood for heat as the previous owner had. Who knows, maybe a future Hoarder. ??
With part of your woodpile on your neighbors property, it is a given that at some point, and that may be immediately under new ownership, the wood pile may have to be removed from the property that does not belong to you. If and when that does happen, be nice about it and do not feel slighted about the new neighbors being mean. But, for now, I also would leave it where it is but just plan on using that side of the pile first and then never re-stack there once it is removed.
Zoning where I am States 50 ft. From ends and 15 on the sides. Unless it is not stationary. That’s why my shed is closer to the side of my property.
Yes, good plan. If survey indicates I’m on the property, then hopefully that info can show me where the firewood CAN be stacked.
Yes, our previous home was triangle shaped on a steep mountain, our garage at the top was a couple feet from the property line I'd wait and see if it were me.....
