I've had the pleasure to hang out with Randy and Kevin both on several occasions. Both stand-up guys at the top of their game. Kevin builds amazing saws, someday I'll be sending a few his way.....

Scott Kunz is also a heck of a builder.......

You can't go wrong with any of those guys, but Kevin would be my choice because I've hung out with him and have run his saws (even in the tree) at GTG's and they are totally impressive to put it mildly!

Needed to sharpen some chains today but Kevin’s got my powerhead.

Made a tensioner with a bungee cord, an aluminum carabiner, and a well placed plastic wedge.

That's ingenious in a redneck sort of way. Real question is why do you only have one power :Dhead?
Oh yeah, & I have two saws done by huskihl. Ran em hard again today & they never fail to impress me. Both will cut well above their weight class.X tra sausage is a real thing.:p

Other saw is a JRed. The bungee cord was closer than the saw...

You made a good choice with Huskihl I have had 3 of his saws and ran gallons of fuel. Zero issues! He’s a stand up man, that power head is in good hands.

Great choice in builders with huskihl. He did our 029 with a big bore kit, when we picked it up at the GTG in Michigan last year, I was so impressed our MS362 got left behind, it soon became a XS362...LOVE IT...
Check out the videos to see what you can look forward to...... IMG_20190705_213058577.jpg IMG_20190705_213041181.jpg

That sounds just about like my XS 036 Pro. Wicked saw for sure. Ran it hard again yesterday & it never fails to impress. I just expect it now, but "innocent" bystanders get a real show.

I know that feeling. I had it up in a boom truck when I was cutting a big limb in an oak tree. I had been using the stock MS180, when I leaned over the side of the basket and fired up the XS362, I was watching the 2 guys at the truck. Their eyes got kinda big and had big ol grins. Another guy heard it, said it sounded like I had a dirt bike motor on it.

Pretty aggressive chain. I actually had to hold up on the saw for the stock cuts. Should be well suited for a 20” full comp or 25” skip chain now

Got to test my Tubesteak Special today. Really nice work huskihl !

I planned poorly for this. My shed is full and I’ve cleaned and sharpened everything for the season. No wood to cut! Ended up stopping at the city woodlot where there were a few random logs to test.

I was able to dog in on a maple round when noodling. Had ribbons shooting forward and aft! This thing never blew chips like it does now. Will be a big time and back saver next season.
