    Well crud....
It wasn't Joey or Jody was it??
I've seen 044 carbs on 026's, and a couple other odds and ends, but few people really mod these things much, therefore easy parts swaps are rare...
    I'm open to suggestions...

I've seen 084 carb on 026 ;). The list goes on.

If someone asked you, "Would you mind giving me a ride home"? And you said, "Not at all". I hope that they wouldn't have to ask you if you really wanted to take them home? Or not?

Not super secret. I'm not posting publicly since someone always says those suck and don't work.

    More parts arrived today:
Walbro 12-1 Carb and Intale setup
Walbro/Tillotsen RWJ-4-1 and intake components this is the carb used on the 365/72XT saws, larger than the XP carb.
Mufflers (2) one for tuned pipe and another for DP these are AM mufflers no sense in drilling big holes in a $70 factory muffler.
    Cheers

OBTW as soon as all the major components/options are here I plan to post a picture of all the stuff laid out on a table in the shop so that you know this is not a line of BS!

Yeah, there are a few "Die Hards" ;) But we are the exception, and I am fine with that. I started with a Husqvarna 435 and 455 Rancher. And honestly, for what I cut? Those 2 saws are more than enough. My CAD has taken over. I have a better grips on it now. Much better than a year ago. But I still struggle. ;)

Been thinking about how this member participation build might go.

Was thinking that the various choices of components would be divided into categorys, e.g. cylinder piston choices, carb and intake choices, etc.

Then put up a poll where members could vote on what they would like to see used in each category. The polls would not run concurrently but serialy because a choice in one category may negate a choice in another.

Polls would run 14-21 days(?) and I will compile the choices and build to the most 'voted for' set of specs.

When the saw is complete I will put it up here for bids. Starting bid will be comprised of the cost of the parts used (my wholesale price) and $200 flat fee for building the saw, shipping to the winner's location after the bids are done.

    What say you?

This will take forever if each poll is open for 20 days.

And I honestly dont care seriously but some might with the fact that your basically advertising your services and such to make a profit. Again dont take this the wrong way. I like your posts and the saws your selling in the classifieds. Mods and admin may not care after all this site got started from an offshoot from another site where there was confusion over selling and not being allowed too or not.

Hey scotty I want a shirt still!

OK, then how about this, I'll put up a poll, for 5 days, to see if perhaps this was a bad idea. Well given that the option of a 'user poll' is not available on this site, or I can't figure out how to do it, that sort of puts the whole idea of 'user participation' in Archie Bunker's toilet. I am certainly not here to take advantage of anyone. So, we'll shelve the idea. Thanks for all the kind responses.

Nooooo. Dont drop it. That was not my point. If its bidding off no one is getting taken advantage of they knowingly bid. I was more looking out for you and the powers that be.

And there is a poll feature somewhere? I never done one but have seen and voted here.
