    The apple provides the pectin in that chutney recipe. I'll have to look at that recipe (just happen to have several copies of their insert) was the pectin used prior to the date on the package?

    The pectin in apple is the reason I can't heat an apple cider to pasteurize it and expect it to clear if I ferment the end result.

    Today is going to be a long day. Work for about 9 hours then start the long haul home. If all goes well I’ll roll in the driveway at 2:30 tomorrow AM. Nothing like a 20 hour day. I was awake for 24 hours between work and travel on Monday too. Enough whining....:saw:

    I hear ya Luke, I have one day a week where I work a long day with 2 jobs and am up for 24hrs.
    My body and routine has become used to it. I don't like it but it's something I have to do for the time being.
    December may be my month this year. Looking forward to ditching one of my full time jobs and keeping the other
    all the way to retirement. Fingers crossed that December brings the good news. :)

    At the hospital with my mom. She had a cardiac catheter done today. Looks like the triple B is next. Not looking forward to the next 10 days.
