    Found out today that one of my close work mates had a heart attack over the weekend. He is out until at least the end of May so my co-workers and I are divvying up his duties. One member of my HOG Chapter has COVID. Another member's elderly brother also has it and is in bad shape.

    Work is planning on a 4% reduction of work force - for salaried employees only. One of the plants down south had already furloughed everyone for a couple of months too. Some of the contracts we do business with (commercial planes for one) have obviously been hit hard and don't look to be coming back soon. I offered to my boss to go half time if that will help someone else keep 1/2 their job. Of course I could always be on the chopping block altogether. Been there several times times (between 9/11 combined with the semiconductor business going south at the same time, and 3 other businesses going under) so it's old hat to me. I'm not stressing or anything, just being realistic - and heck, with the extra $600 a week the feds kick in, it wouldn't hit me too bad in the pocketbook. Guess we'll find out at the end of the week where everyone stands.

    Hey, I just realized I'm being a real ray of sunshine here - didn't mean to be a Debby Downer :)

    Yesterday got the extra $600 unemployment money for last week, today I got the $600 plus my regular unemployment in one total deposit. Still waiting for the $1200 owed for weeks of 4/4 & 4/11 but read they will be issued by end of this week.

    IRS Get My Payment site is still useless, been telling me for 2 weeks it can't determine my status. Tells Lori the same and she gets SSDI direct deposited every month.

    A while back I do recall reading about a Zumba outfit in, I think Kennebunk or Kennebunkport which was busted for some illicit activity.....was Dan a part of that?
