    DAY 27

I guess I've been doing too many walks with 99. We were up to 3 a day but she has been complaining about sore this and sore that. We only went for 2 walks this weekend.

Leftovers for meals today. 3 egg ham and cheese omelet for b-fast but the rest of the day was microwave and eat stuff.

I went for some groceries this morning. . They were actually stocked with lots of paper towels and TP. 1 and 2-ply.

Also, they had a few bags of all purpose flour! I took a 5lb'er.

Things are slowly getting back to somewhat normal around here here parts. I hope it continues.

All right we are gonna try this again ! I stood on my head and had phone sideways . Maybe that’s the ticket .

Cut a load of dead ash , perfect day for it. Still some standing dead in the woods . Little soft in spots but not bad .
The logs are loaded HORIZONTAL and that’s the way they are gonna be split ! Lol

Well, the weather was late for Good Friday so I just thought perhaps we'd be okay by being late.

    DAY 28

Checked out the cottage today and measured some stuff. discovered a fascia board that is being favored by a woodpecker(s) so that'll get replaced.

Listened to her majesty this afternoon and didn't really hear anything....even when she answered questions. Just like all other politicians...indirectly at best.

I see a long slow recovery on the horizon......

I saw the same a couple days ago. 3 varieties of TP, all in 12 packs, and a couple brands and sizes of flour. Meat was in good supply, but that might change, so I hear.

So what has Michigan have for shelter in place date ending? I mean I've got a pup to pick up on May 16th in the UP.

As it stands now at this moment, Apr 30th. But she is already hinting at extending the order. She is very concerned about a 2nd wave.

That being said, someone told me that they went for a 45 minute drive and saw a lot of Wis. and Minn. plates while they were out.

She'll likely face open revolt if she tries that.

The Governor has no choice but to extend the order . This stuff doesn’t go away and I quote “ watch April as soon as it warms up it will be gone all gone .”

Wisconsin already extended to May 26th . They did open some stuff with certain conditions.

Sad to hear of the 5 year old boy who passed from the virus yesterday.
She did announce all essential workers can get the test without showing symptoms. That’s a great thing imo , your cashier at the grocery store can get tested ect..... Hopefully that means testing is ramping up .

Small rural town of Durand near me has a nursing home . News this morning said 70 positive cases at the home .
