Good morning y'all......Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Another daybof 7AM-7PM for me, then off tomorrow. Didn't make it to the woodyard yesterday. Had to help my hunny clean up some leaves in her beauty spot so she can start putting down fresh mulch. As I started out to do that, had 2 young visitors show up at the beauty spot. Young bucks decided they wanted acorns for supper. There is a nice water oak just to the left of the picture. We got to enjoy watching them for a bit.

I had a cuzn that could tell fishin' tales like that...he was in the store one day, telling this guy who didn't know him, that he had just caught a 5lb bluegill, guy's eyes got big, he had to ask " what'cha catch him with?"...my cuzn didn't blink an eye as he told him "I caught him with a 1lb cricket"...
Another time, somebody saw him with a bucket of fish and asked "Where did you catch'em?"...he replied with a grin, as he took his fishy, bait goo covered finger, crooked it, stuck it in the side of his mouth, and said "I caught'em all right there" ...
He was a character, I miss Cuzn Curus...

 

I caught one today so big the picture weighed 4 lbs...
