For us, that is normal now. We used to go on vacation but haven't had one in years. I am missing the U.P. though...

Nothing real new here today, worked in the shop till noon & then mounted my tool boxes in the new truck. Got the 8N & trailer ready for tomorrow. Gonna plow & disc a couple gardens for people in exchange for canned goods later in the summer.

Delivered some syrup to a local grocery store yesterday. Still many items not in stock.

Wife’s work went from 3 employees positive to 14 in a week . So sad , these health care workers are taking it hard.

Please take it easy Bob else this thread is going to get locked. Some are for Trump and some are against. It's always been this way no matter who gets in office. It too shall pass. Now let's not let this forum deteriorate into a political bashing forum. We saw one other forum go to pot because of politics and we don't want that to happen here.

Not said on this thread but they (moderators) certainly have chimed in on the Corona Virus thread. This is why I wanted to point that out to you.

btw, I forgot to tell you that our son got the syrup and says it is wonderful! Thank you again.

    Hey thewoodlands

Do not.....I say again.... DO NOT watch that series "making a murderer" on Netflix as there is no closure to it! Man, what a let down that was finding that out!

    Day 26

I threw caution to the wind today. The he!! with the gov's order's!

I went out shopping for groceries and brought along a bag full of can/bottle deposit returns. Guess what? She has closed that down also! WTH? Is this more about control than anything or what? :picard: I asked two different store employees if maybe it was just a store policy and they both said that order is directly form the gov's office....no more bottle/can returns! But, they are still charging the deposit once you buy them.

Anyway, I drove across the state line and did some shopping behind the cheddar curtain. No employees in the stores there was wearing a mask. But, in Michigan, the employees were all wearing masks in the store.

Filled up the tank on the truck and saw some empty shelves that just didn't look good at all. Remember those pics from Russia years ago? Yeah, like that. Meat was pretty much picked over but there was still some to buy. Don't know how these processing plant closures will affect the supply.

The neighbor from Co. is out and about, no self quarantine. The older I get, the more space I need and realize that I do not want any neighbors within my sight.

I don't know if toilet paper is still hard to find in other sections of the nation, but it is in good supplies here.

I'm not sure if it is around here anymore but since we have until May 15 before we might start getting back to normal we'll be out shopping again, I'll report back with my findings.

Friend called yesterday from Florida. He mentioned they always look for TP whenever they go to the stores. Still hard to find. Crazy... :loco:
