Our "half hour devotional" takes about an hour and 15 minutes.

I do not miss sports or even the time that they take up on the news broadcasts on the radio. Like I say to 99....these are people that play games for a living. Why does their opinion matter? Same thing with actors...they play make believe or pretend games for their lives.

As for my wife and I, we haven't changed a thing so far.

And as for the GTG, yes, that is one thing I will really miss. Maybe next year amateur cutter

I miss my kids going to school for the better education. It’s more than what the teacher teaches it’s the social exposure and routine.

I miss the stock market setting new records! It will come back, always does, but I like seeing progress towards my goals.

I’ve learned to adjust my desire to visit my mom at her house, to help her thru her changed life, but at least we talk every evening.
When this CV stuff eases up, I can see myself going there a bit more regularly.

Constantly. I don’t time the markets so my regular scheduled buys are just getting me more right now! This is not the time to skip buys though to do things like buy a truck. Do that when the market is topping out.

Good one. We’re not visiting the parents. My father in law turned 80 this week and it’s a bummer to not be able to visit.

I’ve decided to give in and accompany Fire Flake for a social distancing (front yard) visit with her mom.... MIL is 30 minutes away vs. 4 1/2 hours to my mom’s house- that’s too far of a drive to stand around in my mom’s yard. :loco:  :picard:

Agree with everything said so far... probably why I like it here so much..."birds of feather flock together"

If we still lived up north, I wouldn't have really noticed any of the covid-19 induced changes to our life.

Now being so close to our parents and our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, we are really missing seeing all them at least once of week. Whereas when we lived further away we only saw them once every two months or so, but being that they are so close to our home now, it is much harder.

In terms of no pro-sports, hollywood and spending money as often, I am not hurting one bit in that regard! I always figured that when we as a culture move past all that, we will be much better off.

We do miss our regular work schedules.

Could be a great time to get a clipper and take it all down. I did this about 4 years ago and never looked back. Buzz it all once a week to keep it tight.

I figured when I started thinning on top that this was the only option.

But then again you might have a lot more hair to care for than some of us. :D
