Can't have a mess!
I guess I won't be getting my catalpa tree tomorrow.

 

The mess is bothering me. Plus, the small patch of yard there, is taking a beating.

Who's delivering the catalpa?

 

The homeowner is a fellow down the block who recently replaced my back door. He offered the catalpa to me then, as it would save him a few dump trips. His brother is taking it down, he used to work for a tree company. He'll buck it up and deliver it, I couldn't say no to that deal, even though it is low BTU wood.

 

Be safe moving those logs.

 

Good morning y'all......Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Had to come to my weekly paying job today, working 7AM-7PM this weekend. Maybe we will have time to get some bucked and split in the evenings when I get off, break out the work lights...it was a cool 38° this morning. Burned up some gas in my truck the past couple days...hauled logs in the dump trailer, picked up metal, lumber and 50 landscape timbers for our son's house yesterday afternoon with the equipment trailer. I wore my mask and gloves when I had to go in Lowe's.
Y'all be safe, share a smile, be encouraging, pray this virus will leave soon, that GOD'S WILL be accomplished.

Hood afternoon everybody. Seeing light snow out there. Low 30s here. Just glad I not at my youngest sons house. He got hit with 14".

Good wintry morning.

Looks like a couple inches of snow on the deck railing, and more falling. Supposed to keep snowing for another free hours.

I was able to hear the sound of one, probably confused peeper.

Outside flood lights on to watch it snow. Coffee smells incredible. Glow of fire in the wood stove, flickering in the room.

I've got no place to go. Very content to just sit here and enjoy Mother Nature at work.

Now that it's bright out -

Close to 4 in. Hardly any on paved areas. Just slush there.

The white pines are stressed.

It's just about done here. Mid-40's later today. 60's tomorrow.

As I stepped on the deck to take the pics, I heard a loud crack in the distance. More pine branches down, I'm sure.

 

Still snowing here, just minor accumulation.
