    Snow's about gone for the year. Ground has dried up. And 'da missus' is in the driver's seat learning how to skid logs to the deck for processing.

    We've worked side by side for 30 yrs now. Firewood is our most recent endeavour. Yes, she loves to help out. Its just she can do as much physical work as she used to, arthritis in the elbows. So I'm thinking of ways to keep her busy without much physical labour.

    Understood Jim. My wife has been with me for almost 58 years now and neither of us can do as much physical work as we used to. She has not helped me with firewood for about 6 or 7 years now. I miss that.
