Took the boat out after dinner. Was a bit windy for a bit (white caps), but things calmed down soon enough. The fish: (sorry no pics of fish, probably because they were only caught at the very beginning) Dawn= 1 white crappie & 1 small mouth Well Seasoned= 1 small mouth Things went dry after the first half hour (around the same time the wind stopped...weird) so I took a few pics here and there. Headed back when it started getting dark listening to Jamey Johnson. Beautiful night!
That's a very good guess, as I go there a lot, but no it's nockamixon. Wallenpaupack is NW of me a ways, where Nockamixon is closer being SE. Big bass lake
I particularly enjoy this lake because it's quiet, and not a busy place. Even on weekends it's not bad. I know the lake well being between where I grew up and where I live now. Hybrid striped bass during overnight trips and walleye are my favorites!

I love all his stuff. Stays outta the lime light, sings about chit I can relate to. He could catch fish by sticking his head in a lake with all that beard and hair.
Looks like a nice lake and a nice evening trip! Usually when the water goes flat and the sun fades. I switch to top water plug. A darn hoot of a time when they start exploding on TW baits.
Spent quite a few years on the paupack when I was in my early teens. My Dad kept a cruiser there and we would spent every summer weekend on it. Lots of good memories.
EVERY TIME, no matter how many years I've been fishing, when a tw gets slammed, it still scares the chit outta me.
It's a fun HUGE lake. One can get in trouble in the one cove with its own nickname note. Lots of la cerveza mas fina.
Looks like a nice night on the water! I've spent lots of weekends on paupak but never been to nockamixon. My buddy's grandparents had a house in hawley so paupak was our go to weekend spot. I actually never knew how close nockamixon is to me. Might have to check it out some weekend after the baby gets here.
Im kinda close to beltzville, but its a chitty lake. Too many yahoos on it, and it gets shut down every season once or twice . Too many kids dropping nuggets in there while swimming I gather.
The lake we live on we hardly fish due to to many YAHOO"S. You'd think with these gas prices there would be so many? We also get a kick out of the googan's at the boat ramp.
