Been wanting to make something to stack all my BL on. (about two cords worth) Cleared an area at my friends. Had to fell a small cherry and get the stump out. Couple cull 16' PT 4x4's and a some PT 2x6 that ive had hanging around for way too long. Ran out of time and batteries died for cordless impact driver. Maybe finish tomorrow. Did some stacking. Plan is to stack 4x4x16" for two cords but i may go 5' high. Next pics of all dead locust to be moved. I stacked the greener stuff first. A couple had bark starting to loosen up. Man is that some stinky wood...PU! Hard pressed for space at my friends. Still have more locust to bring in. Ill update thread
you know ill be singing that while im stacking! My first concert when i was 13. Hartford Civic Center, 1981
Lol. Earworm. TBH I don't care for AC/DC. My first concert was Joan Jett. " I hate myself for cutting you". In my head now for any yard tree I have to cut.
How about MC Hammer "Can't cut this" ? Uh oh, now every song i hear ill be trying to make a lyric into a firewood reference!
That’s Brad. Start to stack before you finish the rack. Your motivation is insane. Back in the day when I was laying and Thunderstruck came on I’d go into hyper warp speed. Not much different behind the wheel.
damm, buZZsaw BRAD. I'm so disappointed with you. Given the topics of your other punny thread titles, I figured I'd open this thread to see that you made a rack out of cow bones.
sorry to disappoint Mike. I know you didnt like the "cribbage" one! I think i was working on it yesterday and said to my self "thats a beefy rack" and hence the title. Working alone i talk to myself a lot. The worst is when i carry on a conversation with myself! I have reservations at Bellevue!
Nice racks buZZsaw BRAD ...........I picked up a couple 4x4s in good shape few weeks back a neighbor was throwing out. Your racks give me some good idea's on using them.
Concerts... Ah yes, the good old days... Nostalgia returns... Been to many over the years. Cleveland stadium "World Series of Rock" were classic all day parties. AC/DC several times... Stones, Molly Hatchet, Seger, Mott the Hoople, Fleetwood Mac, Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Eddie Money, Van Halen, I could go on for days... LOL Great memories. And of course we must not forget Jackal... The Lumberjack
Went to this one. look at the ticket prices. AC/DC Tour History - 5 Oct. 1980 Syracuse (Onondaga War Memorial Auditorium) How much are AC/DC tickets? AC/DC tickets on the secondary market can vary depending on a number of factors. Typically, AC/DC tickets can be found for as low as $104.00, with an average price of $206.00.
I remember grumbling about having to pay $7.50 when some buddies and I went to see the Stones in '77... LOL
My cheapest was $9 for Judas Priest with Iron Maiden in 1982 at the New Haven Coliseum which no longer exists. Ms. buZZsaw and I were supposed to see a Pink Floyd cover band back in March for $70 a ticket until Covid 19 cancelled it.
