Please, please do not make this political! Mods please delete if this is gets out of control.

I never paid that much attention to where the products I purchased came from. China has gone from passive aggressive to just plain aggressive as far as I’m concerned. Shouldn’t we stop financing a country who’s goal is to wipe us out? I think they have overplayed their hand and the truth has come out.

Things like this start with one little step forward!

Sorry Harbor Freight, it was nice.

Without a doubt, we need to cut china off!
    100%

Biggest problem is the shelves at the big stores are filled with Chinese stuff. Because we like cheap stuff.

If we could buy 25% less it would send a huge signal.

I agree, but 100% is the only cure for this current situation and if America wants to remain free.
We are seeing the results of one world government and global economy...

I read somewhere that after WW2 that powers that be wanted each country to produce certain things so there wouldn’t be any more wars. Not the best plan!

I am with you 100%, problem is EVERY DAM THING IS MADE OR COMES FROM CHINA. If we had more options, more USA products I'd pickup the non China or USA made product. There is hardly any power tool made here in USA, sad!

I’m sure lots of our people who are in power are being bought off by China. Both sides of the aisle!

I'm a U.S.A. made kinda guy but the reality is that over the past 4-5 decades our country's leadership has sold us down the river. Some products are going to take some time to come back to a non-communist manufacturing country. I'm done with hutzl and farmer-tech. I'll buy O.E.M Sweden or German parts if needed for small engines. I'm guilty of saving a few hundred here and there, but seeing what my support of an Empire like China has done, has really opened my eyes.

I love most American made tools, but have seen some parts that were total crap, and cost more simply to have the made in usa tag. At the end of the day it’s a joke as I can use a part made in dominican republic, taiwan, etc thats better and cheaper. This is the exception though. Most us products are better quality.

Yeah, I agree to not buy China products when possible and check into the alternatives.

I bought a piece of steel and a board, both had stickers made in China. Insane! I can't believe the materials were shipped there and the product was shipped back.

I'm grateful so many US companies have retooled to help fight this virus, with those amazing transformations and now unknown employment future, it would be awesome to bring back some manufacturing.

Also, some of my prescription medicines are from India. No qualms with India but it'd be nice to have the security of medicines from USA.

And food. Recently, though it's been swept under the rug, the administration took steps to get more water to the food belt in Cal for USA food production.

It will be a long haul to stop folks from buying Chinese. Perhaps the biggest obstacle is that so many things were once made here but manufacturers no longer are capable of making things without some heavy investments and that alone will bring the costs up more.

I think the best way, but extremely difficult to do, is for people to stop having to buy so many things. For some reason people just seem to have the mentality of, "We have to keep spending." Many even profess to going crazy if they can't at least window shop. But of course window shopping spurs on the want and then the want spurs on the need...

It is a real eye opener sometimes just to take a drive around on trash pickup day and see all the trash that people have on a weekly basis. I personally don't see how they can accumulate so much! And isn't it amazing how many trash barrels contain plastic children's toys. And isn't it amazing how many toys today's kids have! But even though they are flooded with toys, most hardly get touched; but they keep on buying more for the kids. But this is only a part of the problem.
