    What's your big lake temp at? Any ice up there yet?
    It got down to about 34° last night. The relatively warm Lake Michigan kept us warmer here overnight. The big lake is like 40-42°. That staves off the freezage in early spring.

    The grass is getting nice and green, even though we had a coating of snow overnight yesterday am.

    It also said by Friday most would get it. I am wondering if it's a regional thing? Cause a little t of y'all got it Tuesday and a lot of people in this area got theirs yesterday?

    " Only" 80 million people got it yesterday, some got it Tuesday. FWIW, wildwest , my wife checked the tracker on Tuesday and it said there was no info available. Then Wednesday hit, and it said it should be arriving. I checked my balance, and it was there.

    All the fruit farmers in Mi are now worried about this years crops after this cold spell. It could for sure wreck things.

    For over an hour the airplanes were buzzing around here this morning. It is time for them to be dropping pellets to kill skeeters. Now hopefully we won't get any big rains to wash it all away. That has happened before. Sadly, they do not fly over our place and nobody seems to know why.

    I've posted this elsewhere but some might not see it so here it is again. This was 4/18/2018 and look at the thickness of that ice! This shows that the cold spell we now have is not so unusual at all. Neither is the snow.

    btw, this was just a couple days before our 2018 GTG.

    It is of mine. Have lots of open space and grow some melons. Really too much shade but it's what I have to work with at my place. Unless I put a garden in the front!! Haha

    His dirt is so good it can be classified as soil. Our dirt here is just that, dirt. When they built these houses in the late 50s they stripped off all the topsoil and sold it off. Had to put lots of topsoil and compost to get a good garden to grow. It’s too much for us to bend down now so we don’t grow veggies anymore.
