    BINGO!

Now can you tell me just why no one in Lansing could not figure this out?

Or is it just a manipulative exercise in controlling the populace while trying to make myself look good and blaming the DeVos family? :picard:

IMO Dave the state knows “ snowbirds “ travel back . Some / many that I know have options and CAN stay out of state until this gets better . Some I imagine , although I don’t know of any “ probably rent a place out of state for x amount of months and come back to Michigan as it warms up .
What I get , first hand as these people are coming back and telling me when they will be here , is it’s too hot in Florida. Well stay there and turn the ac on !

Maybe the Governor could have made out of staters shelter in place for 14 days when they get back ? I don’t know ?
Of course then these out of staters would complain because they can’t get PAINT !

The governor in WI shut down campgrounds over a month ago. My brother and his wife have a camper they live in during the summer and spend the winter in Arizona. They are staying in Arizona until the campground opens up and there is no word on when that will happen.

The state campgrounds are closed until May 14th here in Mi . Unless something changes all the private ones can open May 1st .

    DAY 24

Spent last evening and most of today binge watching a series on Netflix about planted and /or ignored evidence by a Wisconsin city sheriff dept.

Not the type of programing you want to watch while you're under a government imposed quarantine order! :picard:

    Actually, it was pretty good.

I learned about it last summer but never checked it out until last night...watched until midnight! and did the last of them today.

This is the sort of stuff I don't watch either, but it had the two of us glued to the TV.

Well, campinspecter is truly bitten by the bug. He is headed out for another load of firewood. He is inspired by the forecast of rain next week and he doesn't want to be working in the rain. I have been inspired by the gardening threads and went down to look at my long neglected veggie patch. Major restoration work needed to get it back into production. I am thinking peas and broccoli for starters. I don't think we will be traveling anywhere this summer so I will be around to keep it up.

Weeded the rhubarb bed yesterday and spread well composted steer manure around each of the plants. This will be the third year the plants are in this bed. Hopefully we will get more this year. The original spot we lifted the plant from to make the new ones still has a piece left that is coming up this spring. that plant has been there since 1980.

Really feels like summer. Fog in the morning, disappearing about 10:00 and rolled back in around 7:30 in the evening. Westerly winds in the late afternoon. I wonder how dry the summer will be. Forest fires being fought already in the province. Two on Vancouver Island. A little early for that.

Go Alan, go! "You've got to make hay when the sun is shining" Be careful!

And yeah, I agree.....I don't think we'll be going anywhere this summer either! :(
