My stove takes 24" splits, so it's all good. Never did buy that splitter though, good thing it's ash.

Don't like the look of those red boxes on the Georgia map... T.Jeff you are in for a wild day. We're forecast to have 50-60 mph winds from noon to 6P. We've got gas for the generator. Maybe more trees to cut up in my future.

    Good soggy morning, everyone.

Light rain as far. But its getting darker thsn it wax 30mis ago. Not a good sign.

    Forecast is -

    Showers to rain
    Rain to thunder
    Thunder to windy
    Windy to 50-70mph gusts.
    Gusts to possible power outages

I hope all the tree trimming that's been done around here, pays off.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

The ground is going from wet to soggy. High winds and soggy ground lends to upended root balls. I sure hope those root balls pop up away from us, if at all.

I'm going out to the grocery store, before it gets windy. It might be crowded, it was closed yesterday for Easter.

We are fine. Had 2 small limbs down in the yard. Had several trees down in other parts of the county, from what I've heard

The grocery store wasn't bad, maybe the rain put people off. I stocked up on meats, turkey burger, sausage, Cornish hens, pork cutlets. Now I have to fit it all in the freezer. We better not lose power this afternoon!

I made a Wally World trip to get 50% off Easter candy.

speaking of freezers......gotta get a stand alone to keep fish. Given away about 500 in the past 10 days.

When the shellcracker are on the bite there are lots of boats around. All you have to do is listen and you can figure out who is catching them because they need them. Stocking their freezer. I pick a boat and when I finish I boat over to them and they are very grateful to take them. I will keep more if there is a meat shortage I am hearing might happen.

Hi all. Dreary, rain day. Got up to 60 but will be dropping soon. Starting to get windy. Where I sit on the couch, I can see one pine I'll be happy to see gone. When we finally get around to it. Been planning on it for years. They lone the driveway stay safe all.
Oh Molly, sorry to hear your sore but guess it that time of the year where a few us out will start feeling. I'm waiting for it to warm up so we can get our splitting canopy up and I can start splitting.

It's dreary here too, but the wind is not as bad as forecast. I'm spending the afternoon on the couch too, not sore anymore but pretty tired. I had quite an outing yesterday. Glad I finished it all up though.
Ah, spitting under the canopy in the warm sun! Something to look forward to.
