Hi folks, A friend of mine and I put this together a couple years ago but we've only used it a couple times. It works good on flat ground and pavement but was too hard to manage in the wooded area where we were harvesting firewood behind my office so it's just been sitting unused. It's built on an older Toro 724 7hp snowblower with electric 110v start. It probably needs some tinkering with the choke but it was running last time I used it two years ago. I have not tried to start it since then. Free to anyone who will put it to good use. It's in Johnstown PA.
I saw photos of one on several websites a couple years ago and thought it was a great idea. A friend gave us this old snowblower and another friend had the extruded fiberglass "angle iron" that we used for the base of the cart. Some scrap angle iron was attached to the snowblower with a cheap welder and I picked up the front wheels at Harbor Freight and ... Voila! It actually works pretty well but the tires are too small for the terrain we were working on. We ended up just using a big bike tire lawn cart to move the wood.
Thats pretty nice and I would gladly take it off your hands but Johnstown is just a little to far to go. I bet someone around there will get it and put it to good use.
I hope so. One nice thing about having my own office property was having a second place to store stuff. Now that I'm transitioning out of private practice I have to find a new home for stuff I used to store at the office but can't find a place for at our house.

It looks like Pallet Pete is going to be the proud new owner - if we can figure out how and where to make a swap this fall. We're not exactly close geographically so we need to work out details.
