i think one of his posts was deleted or something and someone wined about it instead of just skipping past it i guess ,that's what happens if you offend the wrong person ,some get away with things and some dont i am curious though about why it was removed

After reading exactly what he said, I think you are correct. Certainly seems like it now.

Pretty busy day today. The turkeys were full of it today in the neighborhood. Lots of strutting males around, saw two fighting slapping each other with their wings and kicking each other. They get real focused on the hens and run out in the road stopping traffic.

The local FD took the Easter Bunny out on a tour of the city with a police escort. Lots of families out front in lawn chairs waving. That was real nice getting folks outside.

I had to secure one of the north wall barn doors. The roller wheel rotted through the top corner of the door and was moving too much. A permanent repair can be made in a few weeks with the door upright.

Wind gusts are forecasted for 60 mph tomorrow, so it had to get done. I expect some tree damage in the next 24 hours.

Our family had a small parade in our vehicles past my parents house this morning. It is my mother's birthday tomorrow. We extended wishes and gave her a nice flower arrangement.

I started the barn jacking today. A few support posts had rotted or fell out of position. I have 2 Joyce 15 ton railroad jacks on some big dunnage doing the lifting. I found the original post stone bases. Once the floor is back to level, I'll get some 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 PT posts to get it proper again. Lots of prior efforts made with non PT lumber.

A small ham dinner is on tap later with green bean casserole, raisin sauce, rolls and baked yams.

It was a good day to see all the family from a slight distance.

Let’s just say I went to bed before her. She walked in the room and went to the spare bedroom, never had that opportunity.

Nice change of pace from our traditional Easter where we end up at the in laws with about 20 others that never get together because they want to.
Got to spend a few hours with my 3 teenagers stacking half the shed while the War Department split the Day Lillie’s. Really enjoyed their company.

    Photo’s in reverse order.

Yes. Some areas of Wisconsin have more of it so far though. Ask me again tomorrow! :D :handshake:
