If you put that on you'll surely have plenty of social distancing happening. :binoculars:

I had interesting call from the state police this morning... need to send out a service person out to turn gas back on and do safety checks at a residence now that they removed the barricaded gunman... :rootintootin:

Apparently he was getting tired of being on lockdown.... not sure how well it’s going to work out for him now....

Now I want some ice cream. The nearest DQ to me is in Onaway. They’re usually open by now, but don’t know if they opened yet this year or not. Haven’t passed through there in nearly a month.

It appears as if he was a family member of sorts from downstate. The story is he got belligerent with the home owners, they called the police to remove him. The police had to teargas the house because he wouldn’t come out. He then locked himself in a storm room in the basement... one with a thick steel door. When the found him, he started shooting at them.. :rootintootin:
They fought back with some explosives on the door...
needless to say, the police won this one.

Just heard no more traveling to second homes starting tomorrow. Wonder if there is a rush of people making a run tonight? There are a few people around me that don’t usually show up until Memorial Day who have been here for a week or more. They’re all staying put, and the lawns have never looked this clean this early in the season.

There is a small restaurant not far from me. He usually opens the first weekend in May. I did some side work for him this winter (network cabling and internet access/wi-fi), and my wife has been doing a few things to help him get ready to open. He’s figuring he won’t be able to open until mid June at the rate things are going.

I want to know how she is going to enforce the no travel to second home policy ... this isn’t thought out very well.

    DAY 17

    Yes, it's true. :(

The she wolf from the L.P. ordered no more travel between two residences after tomorrow the 10th.

Executive order 2020-42 (my but she has been busy.....) section 7 sub section (b) #3.

I plan on giving the state po po a call tomorrow as well as the sheriffs dept . How can they justify the atvs/utvs running around but not me traveling to my home for working on it?

I wonder what will be next?

And, WTH is this closing the paint section of large stores?

Stay at home safe at home and this time of year, spring cleaning going on no matter what! Is there no one in Lansing that has common sense?

In Vermont they closed seed and gardening sales at Wal Mart. The very thing that could keep you home by having your own food down the road.

Local mom and pop nurseries and garden centers are closed around here, but as far as I know you can still hit the garden center at Home Depot.

Personally, I’d feel more comfortable going into the mom and pop shop than a big box store with a half full parking lot.

Not after this! Those sections will be closed also! Heck, you can't even advertise about paint or seeds!!!
