    Nice saws, a good running 056 super or magnum is big horse power for bucking large diameter trees. 36 inch bar is no problem.

    I prefer the older myself. Everything I have starts with a 0. I have been tinkering with them for a few years now. Haven’t had the need to do a complete rebuild yet, but will when the time comes.

    Love my 056. It’s a great running saw but a bit heavy. The 064 is quite a bit lighter.

    i just was in touch with the guy i bought the 028 from. He has 015, 038, 041, 045, 056 models. Ive been doing some research and may be interested in the 038 and 045...even better if they are super or Magnum models. I didnt ask and he will be sending me pics of them this weekend.
    Retirement aged guy. Seemed to know good saws and hoarded nicer ones when he could based on what i got from him when we met up.

    Man, I think you have it worse than I do. You must not have much immunity to some diseases. I hope you have better luck with the Covid 19 deal, because you don’t seem to have a chance with CAD

    Well i do have a hoarding problem...who wouldve ever guessed!:whistle:
    Now realizing the quality and reliability of the 028 and the guy i got it from the other saws he has have to be in decent shape. Missed out n one on FBM last night.
