    Fresh fuel and some tuning.
    I’m sure that’s barn dust. Under the hood is showroom.
    Probably should have a carb job and new fuel line. Ran a half tank through it cutting bittersweet along the edge of the field.
    Did ok in a 14” spruce round.

    LOL - Not too bad. I never run more than a couple or three tanks to fill up my truck. The XL-76/130 series are pretty smooth, all things considered. The XL-1's were the "bare bones" models and without the rubber wrap on the front handle, vibrate some. Nothing like the Poulan SD25A's though. The Super Mini's with rubber front/rear wraps are nicer though. I run a lot of saws without AV. But, it is the follow up splitting of the green, stringy Doug fir that leaves the mitts a bit buzzed.

    First outing for these both after I had them apart. They ran pretty well.

    Soft spot for the old Homelites. They are certainly easy to come by out in BC. Often in good shape and on the thrift. I enjoy "rescuing" them.

    Yes sir. The shop owner, Nathan, told me he got it running for the customer last year, put that bar and .404 chain on it. Guy took it home, and let it sit up. Brought it back this year, said it wouldn't crank. Nathan said it had spider webs all over it, gas still in it...he got it cranked, but clutch is froze up.

    This one needed the double whammy. Fuel line was cleaved, never found a filter, and the metering valve filter in the carb was clogged with disintegrated fuel line.

    Put a little muffler mod on it and it’s a nice little yard saw!
