Battery powered chainsaw thread

    Do we currently have a thread going? I've heard some encouraging reports that these saws are performing well for light duty. Id like to know what opinions on make and models are floating around here. Zero comments on gas saws here please. Believe we have those covered nicely!

    Don't remember who got 'em started though. Batteries are still expensive.

    Someone did start one recently in the "wood pile" section. Ill add to this one too.
    Bought a pole saw this week. Have three batteries and two chargers already for the few cordless tools i own. Says it will do 80 cut offs on a 4x4 (which is 3.5") per single charge. My batteries are a couple years old so i dont expect that many. Not that im bucking logs with it either. Will follow up once i use it. I think they make a regular 20v chain saw as well.
