Good morning everyone! Yesterday was nice outside, but other than a walk with my husband, I stayed in and made masks. There will be more mask making today, but I intend on getting out in the yard as well. Last nice day for awhile.
I'm as busy as I've ever been, but my obsession has switched from firewood to masks. It's not as good exercise. But while I'm riding this wave of motivation, I want to build up a stockpile, mostly to give away. I'm concentrating on the disposable masks. The materials cost is minimal, and I can make them quickly now that I've gotten good at it. I think there's a place for them. The ick factor of the cloth masks bothers me, you know people are going to use them repeatedly without washing them. Having a few disposables to use while your cloth one is in the laundry would be useful.

The string is a drawstring, and pulls the mask tight around your ears and under your chin. There is a wire twist tie at the bridge of the nose for a better fit.
I'm going to make a kid's size too, thinking of my grandson.
If you'd like a couple, pop me a pm. They are light enough to go in an envelope with a stamp.
    Have a good day all.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Got part of my list done yesterday:) but not the woodyard:(. Did get our son's garden tilled up, ready for him to plant, got the 1 hr mowing job done for the lady across the creek. Didn't have to take the mower in, battery was going down, think the voltage regulator is going out...:emptywallet:...did get our son's truck loaded on the trailer and to the shop.
I did play with some wood (lumber)
in the evening, a couple friends were wanting small crosses to put in their yards. Picked up some 2x4's while we were out. Made 2 like this... 0406201647.jpg If nothing changes, I will be on the woodyard today...be blessed and a blessing.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

It is a 2006 Tundra with 115,000 miles. I figure if I show her some love once in awhile she should give me another 10 years of service.

Yep, should last a long time. That's low miles. My trucknis 2001 F-150. I think it had 174k when head gasket started leaking oil. I replaced the engine 2 yrs ago, everything else is orginal. Still my daily driver.

    Morning all, coffee is nice.

Just saw on the news the governor of Florida is issuing everyone in the state a new Ford so they can’t go anywhere...

Good morning. This was the day we were expected to head north to the cabin, but are hunkering down instead. It would have been like driving back into winter but nice and cozy with the wood stove.

    Good morning, everyone.

Watching/listening to it rain. Just lit the stove. Coffee tastes really good today.

Later? No plans. Maybe a TSC trip. Needing bird seed.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

I'm going to use up what I have, then I'm cutting those slackers off.

Yeah. I hear ya. I've cut way back to a single suet feeder, and a single seed tube feeder. The "canary" finches and cardinals provide much needed color on such drab days.

Good morning everyone! Rainy morning today, started a fire. We put the cat door back in the mudroom window, and that cools the house down a bit.
I have a couple of mask requests to fill, so that will keep me busy. I went shopping yesterday, masked shoppers were in the minority. Even some cashiers were maskless. The post office was better. A police officer in Nashua tested positive. I think going forward it is likely that masks will be required in more and more public situations.
Looks like a beautiful weekend coming up! I'm so glad it's spring, I can't imagine going through all this on the winter.
    Have a good day all!
