    Anyone seen these before? The tail is definitely odd. I haven't googled it yet, figured Id check with the smart fellers and ladies first. Also see a lot of stubby shiny brown bugs come out of some rotten spots. Look similar to short cockroach to me. Thank you. The guys in the picture were found in a rotten spot in a maple tree.

    I see a moth chrysalis and some small probably bark grub in the pic.

    I've seen that moth chrysalis before and looked up the type but can't remember it for beans.
