I have owned this saw for a number of years and cut quite a bit of firewood with it prior to moving to Kentucky. Brought it out on Friday, fueled it and it was running in half a dozen pulls. Started on one pull after I shut it down compression is showing at 162 pounds. The case and plastics are very nice but the piston shows some scoring. Once again, compression is good at 162 and the saw runs fine but wanted folks to be aware. It will need a new exhaust gasket as the one on it broke into three pieces when I removed the muffler. I am taking a loss on this saw at $175 plus shipping but it is not one likely to see much action at a GTG. I shot a short video of it running that I can sent to anyone interested.
No decomp, most of the scoring is at the top of the piston. This is why I check saws over, a simple compression test would not have given any indication of it.
