Not sure what I did here. Got Floyd's picked up last month. We had a very mild winter with a lack of snow.

With everything that's going on in the World, and if there isn't enough "Pain", This morning my 14 year old Corgi lost complete function of his entire back half and couldn't walk. He lost all his abilities to do his business and lost it all over the floor. We noticed this had been coming on for months and was carrying him outside and moving him around everywhere, My wife took him to the Vet at 1pm to see if there was "anything" we could do to comfort him and maybe give him some more time.

He just crossed the rainbow bridge minutes ago! :(:(:(:(:( Frankly, I'm a full mess! And not sure how I'm even writing this!

We are fostering this dog for the duration of the pandemic. A lab/golden cross.

He is a fully trained guide dog that had not been matched with a recipient. The Seeing Eye needed to clean out their kennels and we took him in. We knew him when he was a puppy and we watched his half brother for a few weeks back then. He will be with us till this nonsense ends.

    Sorry for your loss Dave.
    :(

We had to do the same for Linux, the pup we had years before Holly.

She had calcification on the spine for years.
Then took a bad fall on ice and she couldn't stand or squat on her own.

Still breaks my heart thinking about it.
    :(:(

    Gonna go now.

Thank you all for the kind and supporting words! I'm am a heart and soul Dog lover and "pets" in general! Doesn't really matter what kind but if your attacted to them then they are a pet! One you care for and love! Long, short story I picked up my Corgi In Salisbury, Md. in 2006. He and his two brothers were the last of the litter, all the girls went first and when I went to see the pups, he was the first to greet me and jump in my arms as if to say, I want to go home with you. He did!!! I need to say this with "true" Dave tears rolling from my eyes, my heart hurts more from losing this Dog than losing some people I know!!! :(:(:( Some may know me as a tough man, but a real gentleman has a spot in his heart for kindness and compassion! "If" you find the other side of me, is not the one you "DO NOT" want to see, it is drawn from people, My avatar says it all! People have a conscience and can make a decision, animals cannot to some extent, especially the ones we domesticated and we love~! Thank you all again for your words! I pray for all of us here at FHC and what's going on with the Covid 19, we all have our issues and those of you reading this know how much we love our pets!!! Chrissy and I are a bit of a mess right now so another day will go by. Be safe...
