About 35 this morning and everything is all wet from overnight rain. White Pine and Spruce in the Wood Gun right now. Suppose to be a high of 45 today.

We did hit 60 yesterday. 30 this morning.

I know the frogs have to get froze up 6 times but now Mother Nature is going overboard with this.

I got a fire going after breakfast today. OAT temps around 50 but it will be dropping during the day with rain changing over to light snow and p0ssible ice.

    45ºF outside here
red maple started a little late this morning mostly to drive the humidity/chill out of the air. Probably won't have the stove going for very long.

We have had an ocean storm persisting offshore for a few more days than they originally forecast.
Winds really picking up now so I hope that is the storm moving and not just intensifying. Really don't want high winds with the ground this saturated.

20200403_115215.jpg It was sunny and 85 degrees Thursday, a cold front came in last night and lows were 25. Currently at 34, pure madness.
Burning some uglies from the wood lot and some Oak.

Never got anywhere near freezing overnight!

In the 40's here now and just waiting for the cold front that Minnesota doesn't want any longer to show up.

Spotty drizzle this morning but that was it.

Same here, only down to 50 last night, at 47 right now, going to drop into the 30s right quick when the cold front hits, and been raining off and on sense I got up at 4 this morning.

41* outside when I got up. 62* presently. 79* in the house.
Just came in from outside. I knew the wife had added wood to the stove. I could tell by the smoke. Why? It is 62 outside and 79* (in the adjacent room to the stove room) and she put in the last bit of wood I had hauled in in. "Mom is getting cold" Told her that was it. I have no more wood (white lie), but figured I'd let them stew on it for the next day or so. Not suppose to be real cold. Have to wean them off the heat. Not going to burn all spring and summer.

It's coming. It got up to 60f yesterday, and never got above 28f today with freezing rain and snow. Sorry, but I guess we all have to get through at least one of these systems each spring. It may not be the last. My mother's birthday is April 26th and more than once we have had a snow storm.

I just started a blaze with birch and sugar maple in the hearth for the evening relaxation with the family.

True that! Lived here too many decades to expect anything else!

We got our 2nd walk in today as late as we could.....just as it started to rain, we were on the home stretch!

27F this AM. Coffee is tasty and the pooch is happy. Looking outdoors at the snow on my vehicles. Brrrr. Back to my couch. Now where is that TV remote:)
Nice in the house as the stove slowly digests last nights load.

About 32 here earlier this morning. White Pine in the Wood Gun. Still getting fairly cool at night. My son and I brought a face cord of firewood into the basement yesterday though. That should last us at least a week. I have about three left under the porch. Hopefully that will get us to middle of May.?
