I am hoping to get kiddo out of the house when WWW is working in the camper during the Coronavirus Task Force Briefings :emb: He could put something on for her and still work while she watches a rated G show, and I can hear watch the briefing in here.... she brings our little kitty with her, pretty cute :) He's not always here but when he is would be great.

If that is for skeeters, this seems to be way too early. Here, May 20 is the magic time for the hatching.

That said, I've informed the township and county that I will no longer be handing out the skeeter stuff this year. I really don't want a lot of people coming to our place to get it.

Yes, the dynatrap is for skeeter killing. They don't have a set date as to when they arrive, it's all based off of temperatures. We're seeing little gnats all over. These gnats look pretty much like a mosquito, but they don't bite. If those are out, then mosquitoes are soon to arrive.

Also, for a dynatrap to be effective, you need to start them early.

Mine is ready to go. Didn't seem to effect the electric bill last year. With my daughter's home from school I'm sure I'll and everyone else see a jump.

Yeah, they don't use much electricity. I do have a kill a watt that tells you how much electricity things use. I could plug that in and find out how much it really uses. We have the 1/2 acre unit. It's about the size of a 20lb propane tank that gas grills use.

We'll see if I get bored enough to plug the dynatrap into the kill a watt.

I killed a skeeter yesterday and a few days back when we were out on the ATV, when we stopped, I see a couple buzzing around.

Yes, there will always be a few but the big hatch comes much later. I killed a skeeter today too but we don't get excited with one or two. We're 6 weeks away here in MI.

We have a couple different kinds of mosquitoes here and every now and then you'll see one of the ones/types that make it thru the Winter on a warm Winter day. A tick as well. Buggers.

Ordered home heating oil today as it looks like Saudi Arabia and Russia have called a truce and plan to cut back production(s) . We'll see but at $1.52 a gallon may as well fill the tank.

Need to split some pine as we're almost out. We'll see how that goes, day is almost over.

angela.JPG Read on FB today that my precious daughter, Angela, changing positions at the VA and now will be working on a unit designated for Carona patients. My eyes are water filled. Proud of her, yes indeed, but also very frightened for her. Her children are grown. One of them is also an RN. I am so frightened because there is no remedy if she catches it. My Aunt was a nurse and caught a disease and passed away back in the early 1920's I was told it was typhoid. Lets all pray for the safety of all our hero's who are working on the front lines of this war with covid 19

Yeah, usually when I gamble I lose.
If Saudi Arabia stops max pumping I really think we've seen or are seeing the bottom of HHO and gasoline prices. Does remain to be seen though.
There's always 55 gallon drums but it's not like you can store the stuff forever either in a home environment.
Still holding out on some cash I have to invest with though.
