Just ordered 10 replacement windows for the house. My wallet hurts.

After these 10, only 6 more to replace.

STX is that package name. But, yes those have those options.

Look at the height of the seat compared with the handlebars then it doesn't look so out of place.

In addition to the STX package, there's also an XTR package. If you see those, and there's a decal on the rear of the bed sides similar to the FX4 decals, then that truck is originally from Canada. It's a Canadian only package, which is really just a chrome appearance package on xlt trims. I had a former coworker that bought a 15 crewcab F-150 XTR and he thought it was the Canadian version of the fx4 off road package. It's not, and you can buy the fx4 package in Canada.

My 16 is an fx4 from Ontario. What I think is funny is that Canadian 5.0 v8's don't have the "flex fuel" badge on the tailgate like the 5.0's do from 15-17 in the US. It simply says that it is flex fuel under hood, inside the fuel door, and in the manual. My truck has no Ecoboost badges either, since it's not an Ecoboost. As such I've had one guy a while back assume it was a 3.5 liter non Ecoboost. I told him, that the base engine on the lariat trim was the 2.7 Ecoboost. He got very confused. He too thought the XTR was the Canadian version of the FX4 off road package.

Exactly. The top tube of the frame is very low, making it look higher than it really is.
Most bike seats are horrible. You want to stay off of bike seats as much as possible for some good reasons.

You know...now that you say that...the neighbors truck was an XTR...yes, Canadian truck.
Seemed like it was an XLT/off road package with carpet delete.

My truck has rubber floors, cloth seats, power windows, power door, power mirrors, off road package, the steel wheels, back up camera, tow package, and lined bed. I think that's about it. It has some kind of braking assist as well.

    Right! Thanks for correcting that.

Ford offers a variety of packages for their XL line of F 150s.

Chrome package, sport appearance package, xl power equipment group, and of course the stx appearance package.

Any and all of these packages are priced beyond reasonable justification just like all the other manufacturers! :rofl: :rofl:

Yes, they did help and are a pain to do. I did find them a bit easier after just one week of doing them though.

And for do I still do them question...…??? Well, only if 99 is in the same room and watching!

It's an XLT option. Essentially a chrome appearance package. From the net..

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT PKG 86X XTR PACKAGE
    CHROME 18 IN WHEELS P275/65Rx18 OWL A/T
CHROME GRILLE 5 IN CHROME BOARDS
CHROME EXHAUST TIP LEATHER WRAPPED WHEEL
    UNIQUE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TAILGATE BADGE

    To add to this...
The rubber floor was standard, but you'll see some with carpet. There's also some other differences depending on the year.

That's standard on the fx4 off road package, along with skid plates and different shocks.

You might have the automatic emergency braking. I know they were working on making that standard to get higher safety ratings.

That's what I figured. It all gets gobbledegook after a while. :faint:
