    The smoke from the chimney when I started a fire was going down to the ground. Low pressure always a sign of bad weather to come.

    The sleet has stopped for the most part, but it's really windy. Thinking snow on the way.... hopefully "thunder snow! "

    A heavy band of rain passed through the area last night around 9 pm. 5 lightning strikes on houses. 4 in southern NH, 1 in NE MA. Pretty crazy for about a half hour around here. It moved through pretty quickly.

    The Worcester area had half-inch hail! Big stuff for the region.

    Yes sir. We were watching tv, and it sounded like a washing machine was about to blow up. Looked outside, and as you said 1/2”-5/8” hail coming down in buckets, for a good 8-10 minutes. Then it turned to heavy rain, pretty crazy.

    Just heard from my brother who lives in Ellsworth Me. 8 inches of heavy wet snow overnight. No power.

    I hope others in the area are doing ok.
