Yes in deed. Extreme price pressure downward this year, or at least in the short to medium time frame. Station in town has gas at 1.77
Issue is with the plunge in demand, they are selling "old" fuel bought at the higher price. New deliveries are way lower. But,,, I dont see how any buisness is making money as the prices plunged.
I got my card and email from Frederickson a week before...you must be on the B-list I'm anticipating some price gouging later this year to make up for the lost revenue of a warm winter and Corona-geddon so I opted to pre-buy 3 ton of the Vermonts. I could be wrong......... no, I'm always right
They'll also tell us pellet prices aren't going to improve, in fact - if anything, prices will go up, and then trail off while mumbling something about increasing transportation costs. What do you mean "should" ? You're gonna get your pig card revoked saying things like that!
This came in the mail today. Revised pricing from RF. All prices have increased from the original early buy notice they sent out in early April. I hope the pellet mills can find a way to be more price competitive. HHO is $1.50 over here, and if that doesn't change much by heating season it could make for a tough year for the wood pellet industry.
we arent seeing any price reductions really, but more increases. A good deal on heating oil right now though!
For those that have that option. Haven't checked NG, But likely it has also declined. Electricity hasn't budged.............
