The lady at the place I picked it up said we haven't had a chance to wash it, do you want me to have them wash it really quick? ( The pollen is flying like crazy down here) I looked at her and said really? Grinned and laughed and said no looking back at the Ram! Haha. I said this is the cleanest this truck will ever be inside and out!! It's about to go put on a dirt road.

Took it's first trip off-road on the dirt road with about 100 miles on it IMG_20200327_134107042_HDR.jpg

You should take a road trip up here in another week or two. Dirt roads will be nothing but frozen mud topped with a few inches of slime. Mud season in full force. Everything out of the woods.

Here was the Ram about a month ago. Wettest it has been in decades. Fell in a hole that only a skidder got me out of. Another truck and an 8000 pound winch just bogged down and barely rocked the truck a few inches. IMG_20200220_142451239.jpg IMG_20200220_145427304.jpg

I think I will like it. About 4 years with it and then will get another one.

Umm yeah, that 5.0 coyote is a beast. There's a reason why it's comparable to a 6.2 gm v8's power, as well as the 5.7 hemi, 5.6 Nissan and 5.7 yota, despite being smaller in displacement.

The coyote is a great engine, awesome power and mpg and yours has the 10 spd and even a few more hp and tq than mine with the dual fuel injection. You'll find that you'll beat cars that think they are fast, if you want to do that in your work truck.;)

Interesting that they got you an fx4 off road package. You get the electronic locking rear axle, the HD shocks and skid plates with that package. The skid plates and ELD are available as separate options, but I think it costs less to get the fx4 if you want those 2 items.
Interesting also that it's got steel wheels. What trim, XL or XLT? Edit, saw it's an XL.

I am not up on the trim packages these days. It's got rubber floors and cloth seats. We ordered it with off road package and wanted skid plates etc. We tend to rip crap out from under these trucks. Wish the skid plates were actually better a d covered more. things like O2 sensor wires and transmission wires etc get snagged.

We spend a lot of time off road and in the mud...some of us follow behind where tanks have wallowed out the roads so traction and when spinning power is needed. :)

Yea I have the 10 speed. I punched it today to pass two tractors on the road. Truck is fast!! At about 65 it grabbed another gear and dropped back to the low end of the powerband and was going like a rocket when I got off of it at about 80 was actually kind of scary how fast I was gaining speed on the two lane.

I took care of several chores this morning, then cut a little wood this afternoon, and then went for a walk through the woods. A great day. Weather was beautiful.

    DANG IT!

Found out today that the dewalt combo kit I bought less than a month ago from Home Depot dropped the price another $50. this means, that I can get the price difference refunded to me. Only thing is, I have to go to the store in person! :picard:

Right now, both Mich and Wis have essential travel only restrictions.....

Nope. Because it was an in stock item, I have to go in person to the store. If I had ordered it, it would have been taken care of over the phone.

Maybe I'll try calling customer care line once more tomorrow and plead the non-essential travel case a bit more.....

No matter, I guess. 99 already told me I'd be quarantined at the cottage for at least 2 weeks if I tried going! :rofl:
