I had to reduce mine with the front end loader today, it was 3' high in some places. Of course the upside is that it waters itself........................................

Gorgeous day. Thought about getting some of the Victory Garden started. Just a thought. I have some spinach, onions and pea seeds to get in the ground.
Spent most of the day rearranging the shop. I hate that reorganizing. I did clear out a couple of shelves to put my saws on and cutting stuff.
A lot of time was spent mounting and using the HF can crusher Eric VW suggested.

For being a cheapy it worked surprisingly well and was fun. Got all cans crushed and ended up with 45 gallons of crushed cans. I was having so much fun that I had to come in and make a few more empty cans to crush. I wasn't at all sad to do that task.

Okay, pics or it didn't happen. campinspecter brought back a 1/2 load of firewood so I helped unload it. Woodshed is full from this end now. We are working on burning the opposite 1/4 of the shed.

The last spot to fill with fresh firewood.

Now the fog is gone and clouds have lifted, you can see the snow covered mountains on the mainland of British Columbia

I took my buggered up micro chain for the MS 170 with me to work today. I knew I had to wait in line for a while at the trash plant. The chain jumped of the bar and nicked up the guide teeth so it would not go back onto the bar.

I took my time and cleaned it up nicely. It was a good distraction for a while.

Today was day one of essential workers here in MA. Roads were very empty and picked up later in the morning. People can still go out to shop and other necessities. Lots of service trucks out, less cars than usual. A lot of dark store fronts which was sad to see.

BC is a beautiful place. Put in at Prince Rupert on the Alaska Marine ferry and drove back to Anchorage in 2013. All I can say is gorgeous.
Flew into VC last year but didn't see much of it. Our flight out of Columbus was canceled and we got an early morning flight out the next day. We were in VC only long enough to clear customs and rush to the ship. With the flight cancelation I was to tired to even enjoy the scenery when sailing out.

Is that what you call them out in Vancouver BC?

I've heard them called "over the shoulder boulder holders" and "flopper stoppers"...….but, I guess "pillow cases" is kind of appropriate, too!

Spent part of the afternoon trying to find the bad connection in the wiring in my mom's kitchen. My favorite things to do does not include pulling outlets out of boxes one after another looking for loose connections. It's a lot easier when the wiring follows some sort of logical progression but this kitchen has been remodeled several times. Found it though. Loose connection got warm enough to bubble insulation on the blk wire. Freakin push-ins. I never use them.
