What better way to stay away from people than cutting firewood. Got this load two weeks ago Thought today was a good day to start on it. Got out the 357xp and began. Got a good start on it. Then stopped for lunch. Sometimes it is hard to get back at it after I stop, This is one of those times.
I was out splitting yesterday as my log guy drove by, he said it looks like you need more logs, he’ll yes. There are rumors floating around the state I work in will be shutting down shortly.
My plan is to get all of this ,, and . Midwinter I have enough work around here just clearing dead and down trees and some hedgerows.
Everyone should hit the three year plan now.....I know many are still working, but distractions are few right now!!!
Impressive log deck JCMC ! I hope you wiped them down with log sanitizer first. Should keep you busy for a while.
Was thinking the same thing right before I read this. Great minds and all that...................... Now, where to get some log sanitizer....hmmm.
I told the kid that dirt was a natural hand sanitizer while we dug holes for posts for a fence that the others half's sister is building... He was less than thrilled to hear that... ... In fact I think I saw the eye roll going on...
My state is shutdown at the moment but tree services are listed under essential so they are still in business for now. Hoping to get more loads from my tree guy as well before this all gets worse
im surprised they would consider them essential. Of course who knows what criteria they used. Oh well when life hands you lemons you make lemonade or in your case, firewood.
Distractions like mud season! I got the time now that schools out, but we got mud everywhere! I got some trees at my latest scrounge ready to drop and buck, but we’re in mud season for at least 2 more weeks!
