Down by the wood stove in the basement working on the garden plan. Got our peppers and eggplant set in flats on Saturday morning. Soil is holding 85° so those seeds should be pretty happy. Holding off on seeding tomatoes until April. Usually by now I’ve got everything up and putting on leaves. Was going to top dress the asparagus bed with some fresh compost today but now we’re getting 8" of snow. Garlic bed is looking great so far this year - put on some growth above the soil in the sun and warmer temps over the last couple weeks.

They really are! Only seed company I’ve used for the last decade or so. I was excited to learn that the farm I’m working/partnering with also uses them.

Their seeds are developed for the northeast as well which I really like. Some of the big name seed brands that you see in the stores are better suited for warmer soils and the weather further south.
